"Demeter No Access" is a polyptych in which various literary allusions are unofficially telescoped. A medieval manuscript (The Bestiary), Ovid's famous Latin epic Latin poem (The Metamorphoses), Homer's ancient Greek epic (The Odyssey), and the second book of the Old Testament Bible (Exodus).
